Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, while announcing the rejection of the census, demanded that the impartial private sector conduct the census again and give access to the data.

While holding a press conference in Karachi, MQM leader Farooq Sattar said that the census data will be released by the head of the Statistical Institute yesterday, these data are an indication that our fears are correct.

Farooq Sattar said that 46% of the population of Karachi has been counted, the plan is to show the population of the city as 2 crores, the population of the cities of Sindh is low and the rural population is being exaggerated. Enumerators go to one house, leave 4, tabulate data or not, don’t know, 66% of our population is missing.

He said that the Sindh government is afraid that if the population of Karachi is counted correctly, then the next chief minister will be from the winning parties from Karachi.

He said that the census is being rigged by its enumerators, MQM Pakistan rejects the results so far in this census.
